If it says install Sony software that came on a CD or DVD with the device and you haven't done that yet, then install it.Ģ) Use said Sony software for transfers - does it work ? I'm asking because I had a Sony device a long time ago and it needed/worked better with the Sony software. Their video cams are another example of this. But thats besides the point.ģ) If the manual says you have to or can use WMP for the sync'ing, then this is where we get the dirty hands.Ĥ) Do the following : right click on My Computer (on your desktop) > in the drop down menu left click on Properties > left click on Hardware > left click on Device Manager.ĥ) look to see if there are any yellow asterisks against any of the entries in the Device Manager. ![]() If there are, note down the device concerned, double left click on it and a small window will open. ![]()
